Time and Sacrifice.
We all have a finite time in this life. We are not made to live forever.
If that brings you anxiety, fear, or uncertainty—welcome to the real world.
Pain and suffering can do a lot to a person.
It can make you, or it can break you.
Most of the time, that pain is self-inflicted.
And if you break—that’s okay.
Acknowledge the pieces. They're just a shell you’ve outgrown.
Sacrifice is possibly the greatest challenge we will all face.
At some point, we stand before three paths.
The first may say, “Enter if you seek challenge.”
The second, “Enter if you seek pleasures.”
The third, “Enter if you seek shelter.”
Each path comes with a cost. That cost is different for everyone.
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from the world of statistics and probability, it’s this:
It’s out of your control.
What are you willing to sacrifice for this journey?
Life is a game of give and take.
You will face these choices again and again along your path.
But to continue forward, you must sacrifice the baggage of one road to walk the next.
Each road brings new obstacles.
But the knowledge you gain—that stays with you.
That knowledge is your greatest asset.
One day, you may find yourself on your knees, praying for help...
and a road will appear.
Then comes the sacrifice.
And the rest is up to you.
Now, back to time.
As you look at your life, you’ll see time dwindling.
All the knowledge you’ve gained and the memories you’ve carried
will rise before you when you close your eyes and reflect on your journey.
You’ll feel those memories pull at your heart, your gut, your mind.
Breathe.
Find peace within yourself as you prepare to choose again.
And accept your fate.
I am just a traveler, like you.
We are all travelers, experiencing the world around us.
We are not linear beings.
Look around. Be present.
Because time is the ruler of man.
